Adrienne Collatos is a documentary producer, director, researcher and archival producer with over fifteen-years’ experience driving feature, short, and branded films from development through delivery.

She produced and archival produced NIGHT IN WEST TEXAS, directed by Deborah Esquenazi and produced by Daniel Chalfen, James Costa and Texas Monthly, which screened at festivals around the country and aired on PBS Reel South. She archival produced Josh Alexander’s LOUDMOUTH: THE LIFE AND BATTLES OF REVEREND AL SHARPTON, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, was nominated for a News and Documentary Emmy for Outstanding Current Affairs Documentary, and aired on Showtime. She archival produced and co-produced NOTHING LEFT UNSAID: GLORIA VANDERBILT AND ANDERSON COOPER, directed by Liz Garbus, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and aired on HBO. She co-produced and archival produced the two-part investigative series WHO KILLED GARRETT PHILLIPS?, directed by Liz Garbus and aired on HBO. And she associated produced Liz Garbus's Emmy Award winning, Peabody Award winning, Grammy- and Oscar-nominated film, WHAT HAPPENED, MISS SIMONE?, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and streamed as Netflix’s first commissioned documentary.

In 2019 Adrienne directed her first short film about the first person to bring Meta (then Facebook), to court for personal rights violations. ANAS V. THE GIANT world premiered at SXSW.

Adrienne has written and produced short digital documentaries for the Biden Harris Campaign, Al Gore's THE CLIMATE REALITY PROJECT, Condé Nast’s GLAMOUR MAGAZINE’S WOMAN OF THE YEAR AWARDS, and Planned Parenthood’s website UNSTOPPABLE. She has supervised production on micro, short and feature documentaries with brand support from PwC, P&G, 23andMe, Bvlgari, MCM, and Bai, among others, including on 30 short films by 30 different filmmaking teams in one 12-month span. She has also produced and directed shoots for branded shorts.

Adrienne consults, story develops and handles clearances for documentaries of all shapes and sizes, ranging on topics from cattle mutilation, to transgender pregnancy, to The Beatles, to PTSD, to the early Heroin epidemic in the US, to virtual reality in the US Military, and more.

In 2021 she developed a documentary film curriculum for high schoolers and taught it in person and remotely in Brooklyn, Boston, and Palo Alto. She has served as judge for the News & Documentary Emmys®, was an inaugural Impact Partners Producing Fellow and is a member of the Archival Producers’ Alliance. She graduated from Harvard University with a thesis on the Ghanaian film industry.
